Volunteer with Trinity Place Shelter
There are several ways you can give your time to help the youth of Trinity Place Shelter:
Grocery Shopping!
- Having a fresh source of weekly groceries is vital to keeping our home ample and comfortable. We are looking for help with grocery shopping! Bonus points for COSTCO shopping as that’s preferred! We will reimburse you, we just ask for your help with the shopping! Please contact us for more details.
Provide Dinner
- Bring dinner for the 10 youth on a Monday or Wednesday. Dinner can be home-made, take-out, or some people even just call a local restaurant and have food delivered. The meal needs to be delivered by 8:30pm to Trinity. Please contact us to choose a date. We also accept donations to allow cover the cost of a meal for 10, approximately $140.
2-hour Volunteer Slots: (for 1-3 people at a time) We are very grateful to be inundated with an abundance of donations! As our staff is routinely busy dealing with client care needs, we are looking for volunteers to help us organize donations during shelter hours. Tech help needed! Looking for volunteers to help with general upkeep of residents’ laptop computers.This would be a tremendous help to us!! Please contact us if you are interested in learning more!

PLEASE NOTE: in order to provide a safe space and ensure comfort and privacy for the youth, we generally do not have have opportunities for volunteers to interact with our residents. Aside from dinner, the best ways to help, and the things that the youth need the most are dinners, items from our Amazon wish list, or donations/fundraisers to cover our operating costs, accessible through our donation page.
